I have been practicing Iyengar yoga for over 30 years, starting at Adult Education classes and continuing yoga up to the week before each of my children were born. Once I had started, I knew the Iyengar method, with its clear and authentic approach, would always be part of my life. I have been lucky enough to study with some of the best senior teachers in the UK, as well as with visiting teachers from Pune, India - the home of Iyengar yoga. I undertake ongoing professional development to keep improving my own practice.

Iyengar yoga has been a central part of my life, keeping me calm and focused through the challenges as well as the joys of life. As a keen runner, cyclist and enthusiastic but incompetent skier, I have been able to maintain strength, flexibility and body awareness to overcome the inevitable sporting niggles and twinges.
